The UTES better not take this game lightly. Yes, they should destroy SDU and then it is all about the last game against, well you know. But this is exactly the kind of situation that bites teams in the hind end if they are not completly focused on the task at hand. I don't think Kyle will let that happen, but you never know.

Let's go UTES, keep the focus and keep it perfect!!!

No need for "style points". Just go up by 3 touchdowns, and give the rest of the game to the back-ups...regardess what quarter we're in. Keep the starters fresh. It won't necessarily take SDSU's first string players to put one of OUR guys on the injury cart.

Hopefully, with all those underclassmen playing for the Aztecs, they'll be able to come back a stronger, more competitive conference opponent next year due to all that experience.

You guys are just jealous of BYU's ability to lose games they should. Ha! We are predictable. We were supposed to lose against TCU and we did. And we are supposed to lose to Utah and we will. You cant stop our game plan. Because when we come rolling into Salt Lake, you cant stop us, your only hope is to contain us from losing to badly to the Utes!Go Cougs our game plan is UNSTOPPABLE BABY!!!!

We are the proud if somewhat clueless Ute fans. We don't love out team so much as hate yours. I don't know who we are playing tomorrow because I will be watching and cheering against BYU. All I know is that the UTEs should win every game and if they don't, Ludwig is at fault. I think we have an offense and a defense but that doesn't really matter as long as we beat the Y.

Well, if history the past couple of years tells us anything, its that the Utes always drop ONE completely unexplainable game. Wyoming two years ago, UNLV last year and now SDSU.

I can't wait to see all you crying Ute fans when you lose the last three games of the season. You will lose to SDSU, BYU (naturally) and than close out the season with a loss in the new mexico bowl to San Jose St., or some other sorry team.

Sorry Yewt fans, it is what it is. If the team smells like a skunk..

All season long, whether it is on these Des News boards or the back of t-shirts worn by Utah State fans, every time someone makes a humorous remark about BYU (for today's contribution, see BYU fan 9:40am written by a Utah fan)some BYU fan will try to copy it and apply it to Utah (see Utah Fan 10:20am written by a BYU fan) or Utah State as the case may be. It just isn't funny the second time around guys.

Come on BYU fans, show us what you've got...write your own material. You can do it!

Okay Yewt fans.

Hopefully your team can be competitive four years from now again, because you have all suddenly become such big fans!

This is why the program has progressed since '03. (It was sorry before '03 as facts and records show)

You copied Georgia's black uniforms, you TRIED home of the 12th man, you tried copying Tennessee's players walk (nobody showed up), you copied BYU's spread offense, you upgraded your stadium which is 20 years away from BYU's in both size and sell out capacity and to top it all off, you hired A COUGAR FOOTBALL PLAYER FROM THE '84 NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP TEAM!

Keep copying your older brother (BYU) and everyone else and maybe one day the yewts will have their own identity and a program that can stay near the top consistently.

I've noticed that, too. But let's face it, when it comes to making jokes, BYU is a target rich environment. Outside of BYU, the same material generally doesn't apply.

At least we didnt have a slogan to go undefeated, then humiliate ourselves on national tv and have to settle for the new mexico bowl. I cant wait to see this at the end of the year:

Okay Why fans,

The Utes have dominated the Why over the course of their football histories. The score is 52 wins vs. 33 wins. The Why fans like to conveniently forget how sorry their program was before the 1980s.

The only reason the Why was able to develop quarterbacks like Steve Young and MacMahon is because they were tutored by Norm Chow, A UNIVERSITY OF UTE GRADUATE.

Keep up the selective memory, Joe ol' boy.

I've explained this to you before, maybe this time you will listen and even learn...

Little brothers receive gifts from big brothers. In this case, BYU was given more than $1 Million by the Utes a few years ago and will likely receive a similar gift again this year. Thus, it is BYU who is the "little brother" here. BYU only receives charity from others. BYU has NEVER done ANYTHING for ANYBODY. Do you understand?

BTW--BYU tried to get Whittingham but he politely said "NO THANK YOU, BYU!"

Utah State called. They want their uniforms back. Also, the BCS called. They wanted to say thanks for creating the BCS to ensure that NOBODY from outside the BCS will ever have a chance at the NC ever again. Also, the BCS said are not welcome at any of their bowl games...those are reserved for the big boys. Stick to playing Northern Iowa.

Let's hope Utah's defense remembers "why" they lost to the why the last several times, ie falling asleep on 4th and mega, and allowing Beck a decade to find a receiver in the zone sitting on his knees waiting for the ball to arrive. Get smart this time Utes. We outplay the why the entire game, then give it away at the end. BCS-bound, my bags are packed!

Wow. This coming from the team that has only beat one team with a winning record, Northern Iowa! If anybody has a chance of dropping a game this week, it is BYU!

Looks like you need history lesson. Ron McBride took over in 1990. After that, the Utes won 6 out of 11 games against BYU. That's better than 50%. In 1994, we were ranked #8, and beat Arizona in the Freedom Bowl with a 10-2 record. During the 70s and 80s, our program wasn't so good, but prior to the 70s we dominated BYU. How's that for some history!
