More of the same, they'll continue to be dominated by a BYU team that is bigger, faster, and better. Get used to it. When will Boylen stop blaming his predecessor for his failures as a coach?

Looking forward to a big season this year. Boylen is a great coach who I think is starting to come into his own, and I think the talent is there to make some waves in MWC.

Why do we have BYU at home first for the third year in a row? The conference is hosing us in the scheulding dept.!

Since this is the year of CHANGE, let's hope Boylen learns to "talk" into a microphone, instead of shout. Let's hope Boylen has learned how to call a play in the final seconds of a game, and not let your starting point guard take the fall for your lack of head coaching experience. Finally, let's hope that if Boylen is a bust again, that Chris Hill will go after a real coach. I can't stand BULLWINKLE, and I am a die hard UTE!

Darrell, what diff does it make whether the first game is in provo or SLC? Getting hosed? Come on. "More of the same", where in this article did you read Boylen complaining about his predecessors? Boylen has a whinny voice, but I didn't see any of that in his statements. Maybe the biggest whiner is the one looking back at you in the mirror.

A Tuesday night home game vs BYU?

This is why we need 10 teams in the MWC, so we can move to a Thursday/Saturday game schedule.

Mid-week conference games are a joke, especially at 8 p.m., meaning most working people will stay home to watch the game on television.

I love my Utes. But things haven't been the same since the Majerus era.
C'mon Ute fans! | 3:34 p.m. Nov. 13, 2008
You all sound like a bunch of ninnies! Rome wasn't built in a day! Give Boylen a chance. It will take more than one season for Boylen to account for Majerus's uninspired final years and Giac burning the rest to the ground.

Last year's team was a clear step better than the year before - with basically the same guys! It didn't show up in the W column by much, but losing multiple times on the final play is a huge step from losing multiple times by 20+.

This is not their year, IMO, but Boylen has the program on the right track. Enjoy the ride.

I think Boylen has done a great job! We've gone from one of the worst B-ball seasons, and being blown out to a winning season and a ton of close games. This year, they will build on it, and we will be in contention for the MWC. If not this year, it will be soon that Utah will be dominant again!

to sigh and jd.

Come on you guys. If you truly are Ute fans you have to love the direction of the program. Tough defense, Boylen is getting some athletes in here and doing his best to energize the fan base which has the tendency to be somewhat lethargic. If sigh will remember, Majerus' first few years were not a rocket ship to the top of the MWC, even after he returned from his quintuple bypass.

Excited and c'mon have it right. This team is headed in the right direction, and Boylen is the reason for that.

Go Utes

Boylen is the real deal. I hope we can keep him for a few more years. The team has improved dramatically in his one year at the helm. The Utes should be better this year and contend for a MWC championship. I am excited to see the progress in toughness and experience the team has this year.
