Humm- I wonder why it seems that no one has come forward to call the Gay community attacks WHICH HAVE been in the news, "hate crimes"?

I don't even agree with this "thought policing" I just think that if they do wrong, they should get the consequences!

I don't know about this, (maybe it was some poor kid whose parents are so wimp that they gave him a bb gun) but the others- where I understand they have VIDEOS of the Gay mobs attacks - is there anything done about THEM? Have we got a double standard? "It looks suspicious to me!" Gramajane

Alright GramaJane please provide one shred of proof that the gay community had anything to do with this. As to the protest, protesting is not a crime, those few individuals on both sides that have broken the law should be arrested but stop making blanket statements without proof to support your outragous claims.

This seems likely to be a copycat incident. It seems unlikely that the person would travel all the way from Layton down to Sandy before hitting another chapel. It is probably someone down south who read of the incident in Layton and decided he too would like find it fun to blast class doors with a bb gun.

I do not understand what people get out of such activity, but I am pretty sure there are at least two seperate individuals operating.

So now the Catholic Church has spoken out on Abortion do we need to look for their buildings to be next?

“The Standard of Truth has been erected. No unhallowed hand can stop the work from progressing. Persecutions may rage, mobs may combine, armies may assemble, calumny may defame. But the truth of God will go forth boldly, nobly, and dependent till it has penetrated every continent, visited every clime, swept every country, and sounded in every ear, until the purposes of God shall be accomplished and the Great Jehovah will say, ‘The work is done.'”

AMEN

It only common sense that they did it. Back in california there were a reported 239 cases of vandalism to the personal property of those who were supporters of prop 8. So it's only obvious that the homosexual mafia should be suspected of this given what happened in california.
Re: @gramajane | 11:50 a.m. Nov. 12, 2008
There are actual photos of prop 8 opponents in the act of vandalizing the San Diego temple while protesting. Meridian magazine has an article that has several such photos including some very interesting commentary on the hate-filled comments and actions of those protesting the church's involvement with the proposition.
That said, I think it is presumptuous to assume that these acts of vandalism here in Utah are necessarily acts by those upset about prop 8 - they could just as easily have been done by others with a beef against the church who happened to notice that it's open season on the LDS. And it is definitely a stretch to think that these incidents in Utah are part of a vast Gay-wing conspiracy! Come on people, if you didn't buy that sort of thing from Hillary, why now?
Its time to heed the LDS Church's recent call that we sort out differences over policy in a civil and respectful manner.

I find this very childish. We don't commit hate crimes against the gay's. So why do we deserve this? Becuase we showed what our opinion is? You have definately showed yours so please stop. To us those buildings are sacred.

So, tell me, do you have proof to support your argument that GramaJane is making "outrageous claims"?
Nasty Little Cowards | 11:04 p.m. Nov. 12, 2008
I know the people doing this are just cowards but could you muster up just a little bit of courage and decency and come and talk to us like men, sorry... whatever you call yourselves... about whatever is bothering you. It's really very cowardly to vandalize our property and call us your little names on your silly signs. You know you don't have to be afraid of us. You know we are no threat to you. We're not coming to your home and vandalize it or picket and scream vile insults. What in the world could you be thinking to act in such an ignorant and disgusting manner? Grow up.

nice try but you cannot prove a negative she is making claims she needs to provide evidance of her claims.
