Can the Jazz come out 5-0 on this road trip? The only tough game seems to be against Cavs with some consideration to the 76ers. We should have D-Will get his feet wet against the Bobcats and be fully prepared for the Cavs.

All I got to say is if the Jazz come out 5-0 out of this road trip, it will turn a lot of heads, guaranteed. The best thing is, it is very possible.

So looking forward to the Nov 21st game at San Antonio...

I think Price's sub-par performance could be contributed by the following reasons,

i) not used to be in the starting line-up
ii) not a pure PG
iii) the above two may have lost his rhythm in shooting

Tough test!!?? I couldn't find "what it means" in the Jazz's dictionary, published for the 2008-2009 season ;) Go Jazz , Go Memo

Tough test? Maybe, but not so much because of the teams on this road trip, although I believe the Jazz will have a tough time against some of them, but just the fact the Jazz have away games with two backup PGs running the team on the road. It'll be interesting. Even if D-Will makes it back for some, he'll be rusty.

I'd be happy if they won 2 of the 5, ecstatic if they won 3 of the 5, amazed if they won 4 of the 5, and probably have a heart attack if they won all 5. 1 or none of 5 would be a bad road trip.

5 games in 7 nights is a tough road trip. The rookies, without playing, are gonna feel it.

It's quite apparent that Knight will be first off the bench for D-Will. What a pickup!!! His experience and natural PG abilities are just what the Jazz needed this year to back up D-Will.

Price is a short 2, not a PG. So, Price's minutes will come in 3rd string backup duties and sometimes in shooting guard when quickness, but not height, is necessary.

GO JAZZ!!!

Lets get back down to earth with this team fans. With D-Will out for possibly another 2 or 3 weeks and a 5 games in 7 days all on the road with 2 back to backs I would think that 3 wins would be super on this current trip. Just keep the faith because a loss is coming very soon, and it will not ruin our season. Todays game will be difficult if the guys are not ready and into it mentally. We just witnessed last game what you need to do in this league, focus and work hard for 48 minutes or you will get beat. Go Jazz.
Time For A Change | 9:29 a.m. Nov. 9, 2008
I want to see a starting lineup change on this road trip. Lets start Knight and Korver and let Miles and Price come in with A.K. or later in the game. When Harpring is ready which will be soon, the minutes are going to change anyway. Experience and a good start is what we need on the road. Come on Jerry try it you'll like it.

Time for a change? Why? They are 5-0 and 1-0 on the road. If the crap don't stink, why stir it. Lets see how this road trip goes first.
GO JAZZ!

Because you have been playing a patsy schedule, and haven't looked particulary swell with the starters that have been playing(ala Price & C.J.). Start strong finish strong.

The Jazz motor is running pretty smooth, I don't think you want to change the timing ----.
Dapper2k | 11:44 a.m. Nov. 9, 2008
I don't think Sloan will or should change the starting line up, our starting back court may start but they're not starters. Those two would probably be the worst starting back court in the NBA.

As a back up and change of pace guy I love Price but he's not ready to start and run a team.

I watched the game in the Hott tubb! Sloan is da man! So Is John!

This is Boozer's hammie all over again. :(
Miles | 2:36 p.m. Nov. 9, 2008
OH so we havnen't lost a game yet we need to change out two starters? Glad Sloan doesn't have your ear. So let me understand you want to change up because we are winning and if we were losing what would you want? Trade Williams and Boozer for Luke Walton? Basketball is about matchups and no one can compete with our bench. So leave it alone.
Re Miles | 3:14 p.m. Nov. 9, 2008
Time will tell it always does. You and others will find out soon, very soon that this team will only be 8 or at the most 9 deep but C.J. and Price won't be one of the nine. GUARANTEED! Harpring will knock one of them out. Just look at today.
Disappointed | 3:21 p.m. Nov. 9, 2008
Well, same old Jazz on the road. When will they ever figure it out? Please heal quickly DWill!!!
How About That Jazz | 3:22 p.m. Nov. 9, 2008
NOW-Tell me about how wonderful they are. Same old Same ole. Where were the three point shooters today? On the other team thats where. Pathetic.
Miles | 4:27 p.m. Nov. 9, 2008
I see that Harpring is the answer. That is if this is a wheelchair league.
Re Miles | 7:50 p.m. Nov. 9, 2008
I'll tell you one thing and that is for sure-Harpring can, will and always will be able to play on one leg better than C.J. ever will on two legs, now believe that! You need fortitude to play this game and I'm sorry your man doesn't have much.
Miles | 8:53 p.m. Nov. 9, 2008
Harpring can do one thing and that is play hard. Well with one leg that option is gone. Harpring will never be a game changer in the future so let's invest playing time in him.
