After a two hour wait in traffic, you were treated to a tie. Hilarious!
A TIE????? A TIE????? | 10:46 p.m. Oct. 9, 2008
What kind of sissy sport allows a tie????

I wouldn't go to an RSL game if they were handing out $100 bills.

$100 bills? I'd go for a couple of those.
Football A Sissy Sport Then? | 11:22 p.m. Oct. 9, 2008
American football allows a tie. Is it a sissy sport? Hockey can end in a tie. Is it a sissy sport? Your mom told me last night she didn't think soccer was a sissy sport.
$100 Bills | 11:38 p.m. Oct. 9, 2008
I would go for a couple of those too if they let me leave at halftime. If not I would just bring my sleeping bag and sleep until the game was over, and then go home with my $200.
Whoa!!!!!!!! | 11:40 p.m. Oct. 9, 2008
A tie!!! That's pretty exciting. Although, why even play the game in the first place? Is it because everyone feels better? I like that!!! A game where everyone's a winner!!!! WOOO!!!!
You Don't Understand | 12:06 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
Just because you don't know how to play doesn't mean you should make fun of the sport. My roommate at BYU tried out for the team there and almost made it. He was really good, but BYU is one of the best teams in the country. After talking with him about what it takes to be that good, I realized what great athletes soccer players must be.

If soccer is such a sissy sport, why in the world are you in here reading these comments? Go pick on somebody else in another thread.

Plain & simple to me. If soccer were like football, and were given 6 points for every goal, most of the games would be 28-14 or so. Give football 1 point for every TD. Hmmmmm....get my point?

Yeah, ties suck. That's one thing I hate about soccer or hockey. Figure out another way to settle it. That's another reason why soccer and hockey will never be spectator sport as football/basketball/baseball. A winner is declared. I know I hate going home, especially after spending good money to sit in a seat, to have a game end tied.

Soccer Rocks!!! The stadium is sweet. The noise and atmosphere were astounding. Soccer players are true athletes. The don't need time-outs and switch out players every couple of minutes. Even your true Basketball and American Football athletes appreciate the athletisim of these players. Ask Kobe Bryant who was more excited to meet Messi during the olympics than anyone else.

I love football, basketball, baseball, and am not afraid to say I love a good soccer game.
A person that went to the game | 12:26 a.m. Oct. 10, 2008
Yeah, they game ended on a tie, but it was so exciting. I barely ever go to soccer games, but this one was very special, and had so much thrill into it and all of the fans were in the game from beginning to end.

The comments given here before are just lame. I don't think anyone needs to defend RSL really, because those who went know how special the game was. Again, it was chilly, my voice is almost out, but had the greatest night. Thank you for everything RSL.
