Working with them closely? I haven't heard one word from Questar since I got my back bill. Of course, I have called them several times. Interestingly, we are on equal pay, and our account balance, which should have a huge surplus right now, is right around zero. I am pretty sure that they simply took what I had overpaid since last spring to cover it. I have no problem paying it back, but I should not be charged interest, at all, and given 2 years to pay it back, if it took them that long to notice the problem.
Fair to Whom? | 1:26 p.m. Oct. 9, 2008
So, the company is close to a "resolution that is fair and a good outcome for customers" huh? Which customers? The tiny fraction who had their homes heated or the rest of us?
Seems fair to give the affected parties terms for repayment with no interest charged and no impact on credit ratings, etc.
But, to not have them pay for the natural gas they received because of a billing problem, but have the rest of us indirectly pay for it, is a crazy way to run a regulated utility if you ask me.
