Hopefully the prosectuors will charge Ellis and Walker with being stupid. Ellis deserves to lose the race over this.

Utah politics and ethics - isn't this an oxymoron?

We need to hear the truth about this bribe scandal before the election. The investigators need to let the voters know who the fat cat Legislator was that offered the money to Walker for Ellis. I wonder who it is? We need to send a strong message by voting out all of the GOP Leadership this fall. One party government does not work in Russia or Utah. Vote Democratic and save Utah.

The controversy here is the same as the ethics charges being thrown about in the legislature. Republicans acting unethically in secret and then denying it. If you accept the excuses from those accused of wrong-doing you are a prime candidate for ocean-front property in Colorado. While there are honorable folks serving in the legislature from both parties we seem to have more questionable people with an 'R' behind their names. Isn't it time for a real change?

You're making the broad assumption that Democrats are somehow more ethical than Republicans, just because of the "D" by their name?
In my personal life-experience your assumption hasn't proven true. You still need to check into the person. You can't just assume they will be more ethical or a better representative of you and your priorities just becasue they have the "D" by their name.
I still encourage people to research the candidates, and not just make your decision based on the "R" or "D" by their name (thouth the "D" seems to be enough to get Mad Max's vote).
People like Max suggesting we use this simple-minded reasoning when deciding our vote (Pick the guy with the "D") don't use enough sound logic to be compeling to me.
Research the candidates and pick the best one (regardless of the "R" or "D")! Having a "D" doesn't automatically make you better.
