I'm not sure how they are justifying calling this a "farmer's market" store, when the produce is not grown locally. I realize that technically that is the name of the store, not a description, but the obvious implication is that it's a "farmer's market," i.e., selling produce grown by local farmers. It's not.

It's more of a farmers market than the circus SLC touts in town on 4th south. At least its all unprepared food and no taco carts and chinese made trinkets around. Wish they would set up a store in SL county, preferably in the south end of the valley. By locally grown what do they mean? As long as it is not grown out of the US and for mass production with genetically altered seeds so they don't bruise the food. I hate Rhino skinned tomatoes that it takes a chain saw to cut, and they have no flavor. Its swollen bark that just look like a tomatoe. Grocery stores, especially the smaller ones are starting to carry the more desireable now called natural foods. If you've never had unadulterated fruits and vegetables you ought to try them, they are supposed to have an aroma and flavor. And there is a big difference in commercial use foods and natural foods. Even high class restaurants know this and its why its so expensive to eat there when they use unadulterated locally grown foods. The fast food eat outs are tasteless and adulerated foods that you are ingesting.
