Awww... how sad. It looks like Lehi just lost it's almost perfect season. It's ok though. There's still one team out there with an unblemished record...

Girls you continue to make me proud from over 7,400 miles. I read and look at the paper every day to see how you are doing. Keep working hard and win region. Lehi all the way

Lehi Rocks! Those girls worked hard in the Lone Peak game. Their record is still just about perfect and the Pioneers will go all the way; they will win the 4A region and make it to the state final playoff game! They are talented and hardworking and the best team in the 4A region this season!

Go Pioneers! Even the best of the best have a bad game once or twice. Lehi will be number one in the 4A region this year, no doubt about it. They just need to play all the girls on the bench, experience will bring this team to the top!
not so fast Lehi .... | 9:25 a.m. Sept. 26, 2008
aaa ... Lehi remember you still have to play Timpanogos and Timp is a physical team itching for a rematch. Lone Peak did it's job to beat Lehi and now Timp has it's turn for revenge. If Timp beats Lehi we have a 3-way tie for first.

The girls on the Lehi team are not only some of the best players in the state, they are incredible individuals who will rise above any challenge. They have been successful because of their hard work and willingness to do what it takes to find a way to win, as well as because of their committment to unite as a team. Their creed is to "Believe, Unite, and Inspire". Yesterday's golden goal defeat is just one more challenge they WILL rise above. Way to go girls! You are an inspiration to everyone who watches you! We can't wait to see you in the State playoffs!

Pioneer spectator and Biggest fan, I'm assuming you meant region 4 right? Because Lehi is 5A. Lone Peak you are not the best my girls at Alta are. Lehi will probably still make it to state depending on how they do the next few weeks but they will not be bringing home our trophy. It's got nice and comfortable here at it's home the last few years and thats not going to change. Davis looks like they have a really good season going too. Maybe Lehi should start to worry about them before thinking they have a ticket to the state game.

Good win, but just a game | 12:31 p.m. Sept. 26, 2008
To Lone Peak: Nice win. It shows how close the teams are. You'll have to root for Timpanogos.
To Lehi: Just one game. Tough loss, but your team has shown consistency that LP and others have not. Shake off the loss and take the next game.
Go Pioneers! Bergholm is the state's best kept secret...Coach of the Year.

Utah's best | 12:49 p.m. Sept. 26, 2008
it was a good game, but i'm sorry, neither of those teams can beat Alta. They are ranked 4th NATIONALLY!! I'm not even from Alta or a team that lost to Alta, but any soccer fan can tell from watching that team that they are superior. Utah's best.

OK so I just checked NSCAA.com to verify what Utah's best said. Alta is ranked #4 in the nation. Region six is where Utah falls on a national level. In region six Alta is ranked #1 Davis is ranked #10 and Lehi is ranked #14. This is as of 9/23. Reigon six has California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Utah, and New Mexico as far as I could tell. Lehi is still ranked regionally but Davis and Alta are above them.
