Utah Soccer is well on its way to the worst season ever under Manning. The level of play and entertainment value of Utah Soccer has become suspect at best. Utah’s defense is disorganized throughout the entire pitch. 10 games have been played and the below average offense has only scored 10 goals. They are on course for a 20 goal year as compared to the 39 goal years in the past. Sunday’s game ended in a tie which should be considered a loss for Utah due to the altitude advantage when playing a sea level team. Manning’s offense is non-productive and he refuses to anything but recycle the same people in and out of the game. It makes one wonder if he has been given a pass on this season while he rebuilds. If this is the case I find it amazing that an eighth year coach would need a rebuilding year if he knew what he was doing. The best two years of his tenure was 2002 to 2003 (his first two years. Check the stats) and it has been downhill since then. When is the administration going to see the writing on the wall?
