Why don't you just compare Obama to Palin straight up. Neither has a long track record but Palin wins that comparision. BTW Chelsea has no record.

Chelsea's not a total pscyho given the character of her mom and dad. If she can count to ten and recite the Pledge, she should be featured in Ripley's Believe it or Not!

In fact Sarah Palin is what Hillary Clinton wishes she was - Palin has achieved (on her own, not through her husband) the political success AND personal happiness Hillary can only dream about.

Bill and Hillary Clinton shacked up. Then when Bill decided to run for office they decided to get married to help Bill win. But Hillary kept her last name.

Then Bill got beaten for re-election for governor in 1978. So Hillary changed her last name to "Clinton" and they started attending and sitting in the front row of a church which broadcast its services all over Arkansas. Oh, and they had Chelsea in 1979 so that they could look more human.

Then in 1993, after Bill was elected president, Hillary announced she wanted to go by "Hillary Rodham Clinton."

Then when she ran for senate she decided to go by "Hillary Clinton" again.

Doubtless if she had won the nomination and the presidency she would have announced after election day that she wants to go by "President Rodham."

And Chelsea: what has she done except to be born to an egomaniacal political couple?

Thank goodness Palin is no Clinton. We don't need another Clinton regime, although it would be preferable to the Obama kingdom.

I'm not too sure about international affairs but there can be no doubt that Chelsea has experience in domestic affairs. There's no way she could have been shielded from that.

Chelsea Clinton is working for a hedge fund -- part of the industry of unregulated, secretive investment funds run by and for the super-rich, which -- due to their cronyism, collusion, deception, avarice, and stupidity have brought the global financial system to the point of collapse.

I have no problem with unregulated investment funds. I do have a problem with the current crop -- not for their "greed," but for their incompetence and their attempts to shirk the responsibility for the same by seeking government bailouts of the financial system.

Holy Moly! I guess people are really straining at the gnat. It's kinda like Dan Quayle, when he made a comment about Jack Kennedy, and was rebuked with the "you're no Jack Kennedy!" line. Who'd wanna be any of those people? Jack Kennedy, Bill Clinton, Hill', Chels'? I don't want to be like them, and thank goodness that Sarah Palin is not like them.

I think I'm probably as confused as you are, but I think you're asking the wrong question. Instead of asking what Chelsea did to deserve to be attacked by a partisan poster... You should be asking what did Chelsea do that makes her more qualified to be VP than Palin? I mean really?

If you're confused about why some people would attack Chelsea after hearing someone assert that she is more qualified to be VP than someone who has actually run a City, a State and was actually selected to be a VP candidate I think you really need to be asking, "What has Chelsea actually done that would make her more "Qualified" than Palin"?

I don't think inspiring speaches make you more qualified than someone who has actually done it. Someone who's actually been elected by a population (large or small) to turn their government around and done it. What ARE chelsea's qualifications? Just being a Clinton? What governing/leadership acomplishments does she actually have?

I must admit things were better with Clinton. Less government, less debt and a better economy. Bush, is what religious zealots wanted? This doesn't speak well for religion. You've made me a atheist.

Maybe; maybe not. Since I actually know some evangelicals, and find them to be something other than the demon figures imagined by the secular Left (even though they do, foolishly, think I'm going to hell for what I believe), I have a strong suspicion that plenty of evangelicals have a realistic appreciation of human frailty, and are likelier to criticize open, arrogant wickedness than teenagers who lose control of their hormones.

But anyway, the fact remains that it wasn't Chelsea Clinton who got knocked up; it was Bristol Palin. We can only speculate what those awful evangelicals might have done in another case -- but we do know what the Left blogosphere did: They swarmed gleefully to the story like flies to a cow pie. Nice people, those kids.

Thomas - Can you imagine being a 17 year old girl, and your 'lack of control' in now all over the international news? I really feel for the girl. It's really not fair to do that to a minor.

But then again, people weren't very nice to Chelsea when her parents were making a mockery out of the White House. I felt bad for her at the time as well.
