It looks like more of the same for the Aggies. So, lets not make the same mistake we made last year to play a senior QB for the entire 2-10 season without giving the younger guys some experience. There was no excuse to open this season with absolutely no experience at quarterback after last years dismall season. It looks like Borrel needs to be playing alot. Likewise, we need to be playing Xavier Johnson a lot this year as well. It does the Aggies no good to go with Setzer all year since he's done after the end of this season. After this loss, it's time to start building for next year. I know it was just the first game. But,it was a must win, and we blew it. Lets give the young-uns some experience for the rest of what looks like another dismal season.

I agree that USU should start building for next season. They should start the search for a new coach now. Maybe they could recruit the entire coaching staff from Snow College, or even the staff from Timpview High School. Either would be a significant improvement over Guy and his group of stumblebums now coaching at USU.

Why does USU try to run the ball in the traditional fashion? We are not big and strong enough to run it into the teeth of the defense and get anything out of it. We need to run the spread offense.
The only chance we have is to try to spread things out, and try to take advantage of defensive mistakes, or mismatches. When you do run it, it will be against a team that is spread out, and just maybe you can break a big play for 5 yards.
It can't be any worse, and at least it will make watching them lose a little more entertaining.
