Can Weber State really call anyone on their schedule a "cupcake".

Seriously. Holmoe, take note, Montana Western might have an opening next year!!

I like the Utes but they have little or no chance to win Saturday, it's just not going to happen 2 years in a row. Lighting does not strike twice in the same place.

Well, I think a Weber vs Utah State game would be very competitive oh well.
Re: Ute | 1:12 p.m. Aug. 28, 2008
Just because Michigan lost their opener last year means that it can't happen again? Faulty logic. I think there are too many unknowns for anyone to be able to make a reasonable argument for or against either team. Some questions for the Utes: 1) Johnson's health...is his shoulder up to strength and will he be able to stay healthy through the game. 2)Is the middle of the D line tough enough to stop the run consistently? 3) How will the system work with 2 backs taking 50% snaps each? Questions for Michigan: 1) How will the QBs play in the new system? 2) How will the OL perform will very little experience? And can the defense contain the spread? They didn't last year. If the Utes can run it well, they should have a very reasonable chance at victory.

Sure they can...the Utes!

Don't schedule cupcakes; schedule donuts.

Ooooh, SNAP! You REALLY got us there. Now I'm going to have to drown my sorrows over a few pints to numb my mental anguish via your witty retort.

Utah offensive players Brian Johnson, left, Matt Asiata, Brent Casteel and Darrell Mack could give the Utes a very potent offense. Only Mack was healthy for the entire 2007 season. Together, they could give Utah a much-needed lift over the still organizing Michigan defense. (Scott G. Winterton, Deseret News)
