As much as I like A.K. we have to realize why he is not the focal point of our Jazz team. Performances like his last two, is something that your team leader can't do without hurting your team trmendously. He is still a quality player in other areas but you can't rely on him to carry you offensively as the lst or second option in scoring. Go USA.

I would much rather have Ak at power foward than boozer,
And get star small forward.
than continue going nowhere with boozer.
Whewter AK is the focal point or not.

Yeah, I guess 17 Points, 6 Rebounds, 6 Assists, 6 Steals, and 3 Blocks is shooting a blanks. All the while frickin Boozer is averaging something like 3 ppg and even got a DNPCD in a tune up game. Meanwhile, Memo is on vacation, and didn't even suit up for his country.

Going nowhere w/ Boozer? | 7:55 p.m. Aug. 14, 2008
Conference finals in 07 and conference semis, pushing the Lakers farther than anyone but the Celtics? If that's "nowhere" that sounds like a couple places I'd like to go more often.
Yes Boozer has his flaws, but it's still a 5-man game, and the way the Jazz play, he seems to fit in a little better than AK. I think it'll be easier for Boozer to crank up the D than for AK to become more consistent with his offense.

Boozer needs to play or leave | 10:44 p.m. Aug. 14, 2008
I used to love Boozer's game. Ever since the 2008 playoffs and the Olympics I have not seen him play like his old self. He has been fumbling the ball too much, missing easy shots, fouling to much, and not really showing any energy on the court. I think if he picked up his energy a little bit he wouldn't miss easy shots, fumble the ball, and foul so much.

Even the play by play guys during the game against Angola commented on how weak Boozer attacked the basket. His weak little fade away shot (that doesn't go down)just doesn't cut it. Milsap knows how to attack the basket with strength and also play defense.....Mark my words, Boozer will leave the Jazz after this next year.....and he won't be anywhere as good as he is with D-Will getting him the ball.

I believe boozer will pick things up once the season starts. He can opt out of his contract, which i think everyone knows that is what he is going to do, and if he has an all-star year, teams will be willing to fork out all sorts of cash to aquire him. I believe this group can beat the lakers, spurs, rockets, and hornets in the playoffs to make it to the nba finals. GO JAZZ!!!!
