Thank you for giving us the venue, that was nice of you to do so. However, I feel this needs to be brought up here as well. We all know, President Bush will be there in Beijing for the opening ceremonies, before he got there he made a comment about China's Human Right's policies, the Chinese government "snapped back at him" saying, "don't meddle in our internal affairs. " The Olympics may have been overshadowed and China's Human Right's policies, not only by just our high gas prices and our Presidential election, but in all fairness here, President Bush was right for bringing this up, and China should treat him with a great deal of respect. God Bless America, and hope the USA takes home all the gold there.

I am SO GLAD we heard the Olympic flame has made one of its final relays on the eve of the Olympic Games opening ceremony as torchbearers carried it along the ancient Great Wall of China. After a short ceremony, hundreds of fans waving yellow and red pompoms cheered on the first torchbearer, one of China's most famous test pilots (Li Zhonghua). Let the games begin tomorrow. A new poll suggests nearly half of those surveyed are already tired of hearing about Barack Obama, with Election Day still three months away. According to the poll by the nonpartisan Pew Research Center, 48 percent say they're hearing too much about Obama. Just 26 percent say the same about John McCain. Two-thirds of Republicans and about half of the independents surveyed say they've heard too much about Obama, as have a third of Democrats. The poll was conducted from Aug. 1-4 and involved telephone interviews with 1,004 adults. It had a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 3.5 percentage points.
USA will take home the gold.
God Bless America.

for US Republicans:
Thank you for showing us your ability to "cut and paste" from another story. Just what, pray tell, does this have to do with the context of the article? Republicans will go to any means to insert their propaganda into ANYTHING. And you get tacit approval from most by saying "God Bless America". You are indeed pathetic and also terrified that Senator Obama may well be the next President of the United States. Meanwhile , enjoy the Games brought to you courtesy of one of the most oppressive regimes on the planet. 1936 all over again !

Everyone knows Olympics and politics should not mix, and Bush is just stupid enough to say those things. You think China is still a poor country like 30 years ago?
a communistic plot | 8:59 a.m. Aug. 7, 2008
Everyone knows the commies of Red China have dug deep holes to capture the capitalists who are visiting there.
Then they will try to force their will on the rest of the world with their commie propaganda.
Rush told me so.

I don't see how Bush was "stupid" to say what he said. Remember, his audience wasn't the Chinese communist leadership. He's a politician, not an idiot.

Atlman: ditto heads fear Obama. The propaganda machine feeds them new of the sky falling until it's their sorry reality.
I was surprised at Bush's stupidity offending a nation we are in hawk to and that will surpass the USA in GDP (the gold) in twenty short years. With one sell, China has the power to ruin our economy.
Historically, corrupt people have used the Olympics to booster there global images. How, did Mitt get his job: corruption?
I started boycotting the games after Utah embarrassed my nation with corruption and sucked 3.2 billion in tax dollars.

So what are the Hello Kitty dolls? I don't think the article ever answered it's own question. Anybody know?

One can't tell liberal's nothing, they only THINK they know everything with their young skulls full of mush, no Republican is terrified that Senator Obamacon well be the next President of the United States, we all know he won't. Yes you are indeed pathetic, now worship your Chinese communist leadership, brought to you courtesy of one of the most oppressive regimes on the planet next to liberalism / socialist utopiaism. And let the games begin on Friday.
too many events | 12:29 p.m. Aug. 7, 2008
So, in the team swordfight, are they all going to be in there at the same time fighting like in the movies. To make it interesting, they should have the sabers glow with different colors of light.
When are they going to have the ping pong event where you have a bunch of people running around the table and they have to drop the paddle after they hit it and run to the other side?

I know I will.
OH, one more thing
All us conservatives wish the socialist utopianism liberal's weren't so mindless, they always stick out like a sore thumb.
Vote 4 McCain in 2008, you'll be better off.
