We have been inadequately funding this epidemic all along at the cost of millions of lives. No politician can do other than be ashamed of their handling of this situation for over 25 years.
Obsession with blaming people for the spread of a virus obscured reality that has affected millions of families.

Why is it considered enlightened and intelligent to blame me and McDonald's for my heart attack, or Smith & Wesson for a murder committed with a stolen handgun, yet it's considered absolutely neanderthal to blame a drug addict or a promiscuous teenager for the conduct that caused his HIV infection?
