If Officer Terry was on duty, wouldn't his medical bills be paid by workman's comp? I don't know about lost wages, and that could be significant, but he shouldn't have medical bills he's responsible for, right?

Shouldn't the city of Lehi be covering all costs related to this incident. If someone in the military is injured at all, in the line of duty or not, we cover everything for them. Wages and health care expenses. Something doesn't sound right here.

This is definitely a life of duty. In addition, standard policy is that officers involved in a shooting are placed on admin leave with pay so his pay should also be intact.
