RSL will choke and go on a losing streak.

There's a soccer team in Salt Lake? I bet Bountiful High could beat them.

Important game for RSL, even a tie would do wonders for our road confidence. There is a scenario also, with all the right ties and wins throughout the rest the league this weekend that RSL could leap into first in the west and 3rd in the league if all the other pieces fell into place.

Also, Deuchar needs to get on the goal sheet today.
Does anyone really care? | 10:53 a.m. June 28, 2008
What these people do....If they are doing so well why not pay back the tax dollars they stole from us.

The gam is on TV tonight? Great. My sleeping pills aren't working.
unbelievable | 11:11 a.m. June 28, 2008
What trolls! They only make RSL look more popular.

Yes, we care, about RSL, not you. We don't care if RSL took your money. We are glad. I love hearing you whine! It will be a good life for me if I can read daily hater posts against RSL because there isn't anything you can do about our stadium other than whine.

go on, whine! I love it!

RE: Does anyone really care?

Points in league standings have no cash value, unlike the cupons you get in the mail that have a value of something like 1/50th of a cent.

Real Salt Lake didn't steal anything... they got a deal similar to what Larry H. got for the Delta Center. The key difference in the deal that helped pay for the two stadiums is that Larry hired a better PR company than RSl did.

Thanks, keep running up the blog numbers for RSL. Do you hear that?.... it is Utefan, he is calling you. You are late to your "whine" and cheese party.

RSL RULES..... UTES BLOW.......

RSL is playing Kansa *&UILHLGBUO^&%(* s City.

Oops, I fell asleep and my face hit the keyboard just thinking about Kansas City.

But the July 3 game against the UDOT Employees should be fun. Fireworks, too!

Utefan makes the U of U look stupid. Never fear. some Utah Alums love RSL. We make killer money and spend it on RSL!

RSL!RSL!RSL!
Gotta love Ute Fan | 1:15 p.m. June 28, 2008
His pain and agony delight me every time I read his posts. Such anger.... I'm just glad tax revenue finally went into something I care about as I'm sure it has gone into things he cares about in the past. I'm sure he/she takes in a Jazz game now and then, so the tax dollars that went there are ok.

Long live RSL!

Stop making the rest of us Ute fans look like idiots and cry babies.

This is a perfect time to encourage patience. It wasn't long ago that a few fans were calling for Kreis' head. RSL is playing well right now. Be patient and give them a few years to really become a league power.

Utahns want a professional champion. Interesting that it won't be the Jazz.

More thoughts...the RSL stadium looks great, world class. And I am excited and amazed at the international teams RSL brings to Utah year after year.

RSL PR has been lacking in the past, but their vision for the future is playing out.
Utes and Taxpayers | 2:01 p.m. June 28, 2008
The Ute football team's MERE EXISTENCE is a taxpayer subsidy. They *take money away* from educational programs. Out of the 100+ college football teams out there, only about a fifth make money, and the Utes ain't one.

""""Real Salt Lake didn't steal anything... they got a deal similar to what Larry H. got for the Delta Center. The key difference in the deal that helped pay for the two stadiums is that Larry hired a better PR company than RSl did. """"

WRONG WRONG WRONG, you moron. Miller didnt get one penny of help from the state. That was why he was soooooo against it. You soccer fans are high...
good point | 3:52 p.m. June 28, 2008
Good Point. You are correct, every sport at the U of U (not BYU) is funded by taxes. I want my taxes back! I will start a petition to sink all Ute sports because it costs tax dollars that should be spent on education, not spent on big sweaty mongoloids in pads.

Go RSL!
re: ha ha ha | 4:28 p.m. June 28, 2008
You are sorely wrong. It is public record simply go look it up. He did get help and continues to this day. You soccer haters are high... get over it SOCCER is here to stay.

Miller knew RSL would tap into his previously monoplozied sports market here in SLC. He didnt care about the Blaze because because they rent his building and Hockey is hardly a blip on the screen.

He knew there was support for soccer and it mad him mad that his good ole' buddy Dave was encroching on his market and tapping into his wallet if you will.

Get over it Soccer haters you look stupid....

Great point the U of U is much more taxpayer funded than RSL ever will be. And I cant stand the U or U, I guess I will be an education hater now. Thats how stupid soccer haters are.

Get over Barney!! We arent going anywhere...

GO RSL!!!
Go RSL!!! | 5:51 p.m. June 28, 2008
I love the Jazz, Cougars, and RSL!!!! For all of you haters, stop wasting your time reading these articles. You aren't even going to notice the small amount of state funding that went into the stadium... because you aren't paying any of it. It is all out of staters paying through hotel taxes.

Some people are lame. I enjoy entertainment options in SLC. If you hate soccer so much stop putting your kids into soccer leagues. Love Larry H. Miller and all he does for Utah, but I support anyone who wants to positively contribute to Utah.
Insider | 8:39 p.m. June 28, 2008
Someone close to team told me that coach Kreis has told the kids they will get 2!! Twinkies if they beat KC so this one has got to be in the bag.
RSL | 9:17 p.m. June 28, 2008
OOPS! I guess they won't be moving into first after all. No surprise here.
Long season... | 4:25 p.m. June 30, 2008
...plenty of time for 1st place.

Really...just as long as we make the playoffs, that will be a great accomplishment.
