How fast is he throwing today? He was a very talented ballplayer in Provo and BYU was lucky to have him. I don't know what it is, but hitting has been a challenge for recent BYU players in the minors it seems. Brandon Taylor is in St. George playing well for the Independent RoadRunners. He made the transition to a pitcher but is now playing infield again. I think he could play AA ball with time. Johnson was a great outfielder and tremendous base stealer while at BYU. He hit well also. It would be great to see him succeed as a pitcher in the minors. Now if I heard right, he is ambidextrous. He played as a lefty while roaming the outfield at BYU didn't he? Can he throw the ball right handed and how well? I wish the best for him and other Cougar alum in the minors.

It's great to hear that Johnson is positive about change and willing to take a challenge and turn it into something great. He is an awesome young man and deserves to succeed with the Cubs organization. Good luck to him in this new transition.
