Lineup consistency. Playing consistency. Coaching consistency. Management consistency. The list could go on and on.

oooh, secret trialists ... other than sounding a little bit like 'double secret probation', this could be very good news. I just hope there's a finishing striker and a solid wing player in the mix.

RE: Anonymous

First of all, get the facts, with the stadium relocation they have half of all people renew for next year, including me. They have done this in the middle of the week and half of all season ticket holders have shown up and have taken time off from their jobs to be there. Those who cannot make it will have an opportunity to do it later but will be "at the back of the line" from those who showed up to the event. Lets not forget that they still have today to finish the relocation process. Ticket prices have nearly doubled in some areas and 3,000 fans renewing at double the ticket prices equals 6,000 fans at Rice Eccles in terms of revenue.

I just hope that some of our "secret trialists" have names like Borgetti or Palermo on the back of their shirts.

It should come as a surprise to no one that consistency has become a key contributing factor for the recent success RSL has been enjoying. Goodness knows we've all seen what the last three years of chaos has done for RSL's win/loss record.

Whatever ends up happening this year, I sincerely hope that there is not a high turnover of players or other personnel when it's all said and done.

Stop wasting your time! Get your facts straight and then we will talk.. until then get over your bitterness for never being picked to play soccer when you were a kid!

Also remember that 3,000 season ticket holders is a lot more than 3,000 seats. Somwhere between 6,000-12,000 seats will have been sold if you assume each holder has bought between 2 to 4 seats.
New Stadium Question | 12:36 p.m. June 27, 2008
What the heck is going into the south side of the stadium. I heard it's a stage? Is there going to be seating as well? I hope it's not like Toyota Park. Having said that, the stadium looks amazing!
Consistency | 12:42 p.m. June 27, 2008
I've actually always objected to the line of thinking that says the team plays well because its lineup is consistent. The lineup is consistent because the team is playing well.

Prior managers HAD to constantly change things, because no lineup was getting it done. This year's RSL team finally has some actual talent, which is why the talent tends to play every week.

What consistency?
numbers | 1:28 p.m. June 27, 2008
Everyone I know bought 2-4 additional seats over the number they have this year. I personally went from 4 $400 tickets to 6 $900 dollar tickets because I got front row baby!

Utefan, consistency is what you show by reading every RSL article and commenting on it. Your record shows consistency. I think you may be a closet RSL fan. Come out of the closet, Utefan, and join the crowd.

For those who will buy season tickets, section 36 will be the rockin party section! I know at least 30 of the seatholders personally. A lot of diehard RSL supporters. We have discussed forming the "36" Club, and will have banners, shirts, etc.
not very bright | 2:29 p.m. June 27, 2008
Every one needs to quit responding to these knobs trolling in RSL articles. The only reason they keep doing it is because they know it pisses every one off. Just let them post and ignore it. I promise it'll be okay.

Borgetti? He's almost as old as Kreis, slower and about the same size.

Anyone can be a star back-to-the-goal forward in a league where the interior defenders run 5'7" or so.

Palermo, though, now you're on to something.

Yeah, I hate those trolls (even though they are right, I mean c'mon, our games are tape delayed on KSL and we always fall short of making the playoffs. But I will admit our players are good actors, whenever the fall down they roll around acting like they are just about to die, then when they get the call they wanted they magically jump back up on their feet)
Section 26 | 3:09 p.m. June 27, 2008
Is where it is at! Section 26 is the new Section 22, and after all, if there weren't section 22, there wouldn't be the KEEPER KEEPER YOU SUCK! Chant, and there wouldn't be flag running after the goals. The list goes on! SECTION 22/26!!!
I know, I got 7 seats, so that bumps up the 2-4 average.
CMcAfee | 3:15 p.m. June 27, 2008
There is seating on the south side of the stadium. Those five sections have been assigned to the fan clubs. You can purchase season tickets in those sections at the south end through one of the clubs for the best price in the stadium. Contact The Loyalists, RCB, or FCB for info on these seats.

Clever comment Anonymous (the last one); you should show your mommy so she can be proud of her special child.
Season tickets available? | 3:28 p.m. June 27, 2008
Im worried that we are going to run out of season tickets. Is there a number that they max on? Then can I still bring my 10 friends to the Cornels COrner?

Its gonna be a full house.
Section 26... | 4:41 p.m. June 27, 2008
I'm with you. I got 8 tickets in S26 yesterday...sure glad to lock it in because they are going fast. S26 is going to be where it's at.
Enrique | 9:31 p.m. June 27, 2008
I'm surprised that no one else is upset by the huge price increase for season ticket. I had 3rd row tickets at REC, but now I'm priced out of the game. To get similar seats I'd have to pay well more than double the price. So I wasn't surprised to see that only half the season ticket holders had renewed. I'm sure there are others like me out there that will have to give up our tickets--tickets we've held for 3 years--because of the dramatic price increase. Now it's just as expensive to go to a RSL game as it is a Jazz game. Count me out.
only front row | 10:04 a.m. June 28, 2008
only the front row and center sections increased a lot. I am glad they increased because it allowed me to get front row seats because I was willing to pay. If you don't want to pay for front row seats, get the cheaper seats (yellow) or corner or endline seats. It will still be rockin!

Section "36" in the house!
good players | 11:06 a.m. June 28, 2008
We have consistency because we have decent players now. On that note: Is Beltran actually going to turn out to be a good player? If that's the case we actually made a good draft pick? It's still a little early to tell, but if Beltran because more solid 1 v 1 he is going to be good.
wwreal | 11:11 a.m. June 28, 2008
If you go to the other teams in the legaue with their own stadiums you'll see that the RSL prices are right in line with the rest of league.
