Javi M. is the bomb!

Morales might be the most underrated player in the league. Much more than Beckerman, he is the guy that makes things happen for RSL. When he was hurt, we looked completely lost without him. I would love to see him in the All-Star game so that he can turn some heads.

I agree with Andrew - Javi might be the most underrated player in MLS. And he is a wonderful human being as well.
Everyone needs to go to Youtube and search for episodes of the Javi and Kyle Show. You'll be amazed at how Javi's English has improved - much more than Kyle's Spanish (for obvious reasons). But it's good to see Javi committed to learn English - some of the other foreign RSL players could stand to learn from his example.
Bien hecho, Javi!

Maybe RSL should try to lure good foreign players like Cristiano Ronaldo to play for them so they would be good, but why would he do that when he can make bank in Portugal and gave to play for RSL?
Re; Utefan | 10:35 a.m. June 25, 2008
You just made yourself look even more ignorant and pathetic with that comment. Cristiano Ronaldo, the best footballer on the planet today, will not be playing in portugal. He will either be playing back in manchester for united, or he will be sold to Real Madrid, who is offering 80 million pounds (with how weak the dollar is, that is nearly 200 million dollars mind you).
If you are going to rant on real and/or soccer, at least educate yourself in it first

So far i have only heard one suggestion on a "chant" or "song" for real. No offense, but the misfits probably wouldnt be too good of a fit for Real, however i am very open and like the idea (i'm just thinking of the whole fan base, that might not be the "best" choice of song/artist)
Other suggestions please...

I am not creative when it comes to chants, but I will definately be one to chant the whole game when we get one.

Best player on the planet? What? Christiano "Fancy Pants" Ronaldo is far from that thank you! I am a United fan and I get annoyed watching him dance around the ball! That being said, he is to good to play in the MLS(especially if he ever stopped dancing).
Maybe you should "get educated" before making a statement like that!

yes ronaldo is the best player on the planet, it has been said over and over and over again for the past year now that he is. Who is better then him? He can out run everyone, can make the defender lose his jock, when he wants to play he is EXTREMLY creative, is extremely talented in the air, and can hit a set piece that no one else really can. obviously you are not a fan as you said he would be moving back to portugal to play... Spain and Portugal are differnt countries, i would hope you would know that.
And when ronaldo ends up back in united red this coming season, be sure to tell him he is not the best when he breaks his own scoring record... again.

This is what I've been saying all year! Ever since Javy's sick 25-yard free kick to tie L.A. last year, I knew this guy was something special for RSL.
Now, if only we could get back on his mark of nailing free kicks, he would be up in goals too to affirm his All-Star spot.
He is what makes this team go, but as always, RSL desperately needs something else.
Fabby Espindola? Where are you?

Anyone with a bit of knowledge of the game needs to ignore Ute Fan!!! I guess that is just par for the course for "UTE FAN" even RSL cant wait to get out of REC, who can blame them. Its bad enough I have to wear red to the games let alone sit in Rice Eccles... Just feel dirty!!!
GO COUGS!!!! GO RSL!!!!
I guess if a Ute Fan is also an RSL fan we can give a pass but only during Soccer season!!!

There have been multiple times this season where Javi has pulled off an incredible move and beat 2 or 3 players. All I can ever think is "did that just happen." He raises the confidence level of the team around him. The control and passing of our players improves when he is anywhere around the play. He is pure class and the key to our season. Lets hope he gets a shot to represent RSL vs. West Ham.

after every goal the whole crowd should sing "ole, ole ole ole, ole, ole..." that would sound pretty cool i think

go cougs? are you kidding me? rsl wears red, not blue.

I see that color recognition isn't one of your strengths. What color are their sleeves?
Anywho, I'd be just ecstatic if local college football never entered RSL discussions ever again.
Also, Javi should be an all-star. He's really hit his stride. I can't wait for us to fill out the roster with a wide player who can get the ball to Deuchar's head.

A little bit of Beckerman in our lives
A little bit of Williams down the sides
A little bit of Deuchar is what we need
A little bit of Findley with his speed
A little bit of Borchers in defence
A little bit of Morrales he's immense
A little bit of singin from the fans
A little bit of Rimando he's our man!!
"rimando" can be replaced with "espindola" or "Seitz"

anonymous I LOVE IT... this song is seriously awesome!
how about instead of a little of bit of singin from the fans we say "a little bit of ellinger in the can" haha, thank goodness for Jason.
Either way, love the song- should be sung on next home game.

I like the song, the only problem is that it might be too long for the crowd to sing. Who knows, I could be wrong.

yeah, that is the problem i see with it too. I found it on the liverpool chants page, i really like it, but it may be too long.
and to anonymous, ha ha, i like the ellinger in the can statement too.
The ending for Liverpool is "a little biti of rafa he's our man" but not everyone likes jason so much, so i figure go with a player to be safe

Javi for MVP | 6:44 p.m. June 26, 2008
Javi is definitely RSL MVP. If he starts scoring and RSL keeps winning he will be league MVP.
