Good night Blaze... | 10:25 p.m. June 23, 2008
...your time has come. It's not like you deserved to be in the playoffs anyway. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Two 6-10 teams in the playoffs? This just proves how semi-pro the AFL really is.

Dear whatever and good nite blaze. Its not like you would have the talent to even play on a 6 and 10 team in the poor afl. How many years did you guys play in the nfl anyway. The blaze have more talent with a 6 and 10 record than you have combined between yourselves.

Whatever, AFL is semi-pro? How does a teams record have anything to do with the leagues level of professionalism? While it is not common for any team with a losing reocrd to make a leagues playoffs, it does and has happened in the NBA NHL, and MLB. For example, the Orlando Magic qualified with a 40-42 record in 2007. The Texas Rangers were 52-62 and would have qualified had it not been for the strike. Would it make you feel better if the AFL converted to the MLS model and based it on points scored. In that case, the Blaze would be the #2 seed and would have a first round bye. Get off the bitter band wagon and support the team on Saturday.
Go Blaze!! | 5:59 p.m. June 24, 2008
If you know going into the season what the rules are to get into the playoffs and everybody in the league agrees to those rules who cares what your record is. It is the same for all so lets just go and enjoy the AFL for what it is. Its not the NFL but it is a very exciting sport.A few years ago when there were more than 17 teams in the league 6 and 10 may not have made it. Who knows in a few more years when there are more than 17 6 and 10 may not make it then either. So go Blaze!!!
