What is this A.F.L. that you are speaking of?
Playoff Bound | 12:43 a.m. June 10, 2008
One of the most exciting games in franchise history. Our family was on the edge of our seat all night! With a win over Arizona our chances of a home playoff game are looking very good. Huge crowd tonight added to the excitement.

Great Game!

Is Tom Pace playing yet? If so, that may be the reason they are winning again. Tom Pace is a winner! Joe Germane and Danny White would do well to employ the services of the former Jackrabbit. Those of you from Mesa AZ know what I'm talking about.

At least one team can beat LA

I tried watching the game, but fell asleep just before halftime...

Oh Well.

if your talking about the jazz who got beat by L.A. we did beat LA 3 times with the regulare season and the playoffs.

By the way, the AFL is the Arena Football League! it is pretty exciting to watch, sometimes it is boring but last night it wasn't

I watched this game and it was full of high flying, hard hitting, BLAZE-TASTIC action!!! Looks like the LA Express were derailed before they even knew what hit 'em. I can feel the playoff fire burning!!!! Can you say Arena Bowl Champions?
Funny little league... | 9:56 a.m. June 10, 2008
Win or lose....it doesnt really matter, everyone qualifies for the playoffs in this Mickey Mouse league. Big deal.
We were at the game... | 12:45 p.m. June 10, 2008
And it was alot closer than the score suggests. With 5 minutes left in the game, it could have gone either way. But by the end, Utah pulled off a pretty big win. GO BLAZE!!

Everyone going to the playoffs...you mean just like the NBA or the NHL?

I can't understand why sports fans in this market can't support each other??? The SLC market is way too small to question the credibility of its few sports teams. We love the Jazz, the Blaze, the Bees, RSL and even the Grizzlies (although we don't understand hockey). If we ever aspire to have a shot at an MLB team we better hope that all of our franchises succeed. Our family was at the game and it was one of the most exciting games (of all our local teams) that we have seen this year. It was very similar to the energy we felt at one of the Jazz vs. Houston playoff games. Great job Blaze!

Does anybody have any idea how much the guys in this league make? It couldn't be very much.....

I didn't read the article but I did want to log on and say, "NOBODY CARES!"

In the above comment when somebody asks why I shouldn't support this team. My comment is I DON'T CARE!

This sport is absurd. It is like that basketball league on trampolines or field hockey on ice . . . oh wait . . .

This AFL league is exciting, and I love it. But I don't think I have viewed an entire game on TV. I can't believe Utah has a franchise, because this is an obscure sport. But since Utah has only one of the Big Four majors sports....what the heck. There seems to be little notice and commentary about the league on local TV sports recaps. The tickets are pricey, so I don't know what motivates people to attend games. But anyway, go Blaze!

Between $50K and $250K for 4 1/2 months of work. My friend played for the Arizona franchise and had all benefits paid for in addition (housing, medical, etc.) For kids right out of college this is not a bad living. The average comp is slightly higher than what you can make in the CFL.

Mr. Timetogetalife...take your own advice. If you don't care about the sport or the team, quit wasting your life reading and responding to the article. Sports are a lot more fun when you don't worry about how much money someone is making.

This stuff hurts my head. I think I will go over to one of the other article comment sites and rant about the LDS church.
