Interesting. Never added this much milk to French Toast so now I'm very curious.

All of the recipes sound so good. I can't decide which one I'll try for Father's Day!

My dad is getting the strawberry torte. I'm so glad the recipe is included.

Who knew there were so many great things to make with French toast as a base? These sound really good for a celebration meal.

These look prety easy to make. Mom usually helps us make Dad's breakfast. We can prolly do these so she gets a break to.

My mouth is watering looking at that strawberry torte. I had to stop for a granola break before finishing the article. These all look so good.

I had no idea that I should cover the pan when they are cooking. I've made them for over twenty years without the lid, and I'm guessing that is why some are soggy and some are not! Sheesh! I'm putting the lid on from now on!

Your French toast recipe looks really good and it has reminded me that I haven't made it in a long time. I appreciate your recipe's and your cooking tips.

Covering with a lid is a great idea. Makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. I just cooked low and slow to get the centers done. This will probably go faster now.

Thanks for all the great recipes! I search your archives all the time for ideas.

French toast for fondue. Now that's a new one. It works with maple syrup, but that seems a stretch to fondue-type sauces. Maybe make a cheesy French toast and swirl in peppery creamy sauce? hmmm.

Wish I could have got this for breakfast in bed this morning. Instead I had to get up early to start preparing Bakin' Bill's Dutch oven Stew for our family dinner after church.
I guess that's the price I pay for doing most of the cooking around here.
