Maybe Congress should rename it Military-Industrial Complex Welfare Day.

Antiwar, I think we should add a couple more institutions to the name: Military-Industrial-Congressional-Media Complex Welfare Day.

I suspect that all of the sarcastic names you suggest are because of your political differences with the President and the policies that led our nation into this prolonged conflict.

However, your personal feelings for the President should not detract from honoring the brave men and women all around the world who serve in terrible conditions, for very little pay, placing their lives on the line so that you can exercise your right to free speech.

Please show a grain of respect for the soldiers, sailors, airmen and marines who selflessly serve their country, regardless of their political persuasions.

They deserve your respect and support, not your ridicule and derision.
