Lots of errors by SF girls, they took themselves out of the game, but they dont deserve all the blame. Lots of coaching errors, sending runners at wrong times, and staying with a struggling pitcher way to long. Holmes is the best pitcher in the state and should have been brought in when SF was down 3-1. The coach has got to put the girls in a position to win. SF can come back around but the girls and the coach need to make adjustments.

IT'S EASY SITTING IN THE STANDS CRITICIZING EVERY MOVE THE COACH MAKES, YOU FAILED TO MENTION THAT RIVERTON WAS PLAYING A PRETTY GOOD GAME, AND MAYBE MAKING SOME OF THOSE DECISIONS A LITTLE HARDER THAN THEY NORMALLY WOULD'VE BEEN?

holmes is the best pitcher in the state. what about clark folta tyteca lavato, summers, snow . holmes is good but not nearly as good as any of these

Don Andrews is one of the best coahces in the if not the best. Time and time again he leads his team to championships.

Riverton played an awesome game on Thursday and you can't take that away from them by pretty much saying that the reason they won, was because of a couple errors by both coaches and players, They won because of key hits, great plays, pitching, people stepping up when pressures on and everyone was "ON" that game.

Big time players make big time plays in big time games.
That is why Riverton won, period. Hoop has been struggling, but she came through exactly when her team needed her. Playing that way is contagious, too, and her team rallied around her success.
Spanish Fork is a great team, they just didn't make the plays yesterday. They'll be back. I hope the beat up on bingam.
As for as naming great coaches, Ceder and Bree at Riverton are young and may not have reputations like those of other coaches, but there's no other staff I'd rather see my sister playing for. They are excellent.
