It is time for Union to reload. Glad to have Coach Elliott to lead the way.

Reload!!!??? This is a program that is on life support! They didn't have enough interest last year to have a J.V Team!!! The community is so apathetic to what it is going to take... Good Luck Coach Elliott!

Yeah the cougars are losing their star QB but, they still have alot of returning starters and another Great QB coming back to take lead for the cougars. Plus lets not forget their solid LINE and solid RUNNINGBACKS like Kaden Richard,CHance Hyder, and Chase Connary. Oh yeah their defence will also be solid with defensive lineman and the Linbackers are batter then ever... SO we'll SEE COACH KLOWN! ANd good Luvk Coach Elliot

I hear he is taking some coaches with him from Tooele. Anyone know who?
RE: Tooele Star | 4:22 p.m. May 21, 2008
well, as far as i know, he is not. when he was first going to come to union, he was only going to come if he could bring another coach..and i may be mistaken, but i think it was the head basketball coach? anyways, that ended up not happening and i'm pretty sure he's coming solo. if i hear any differently, i'll let you know.
We need numbers at Union | 6:02 p.m. May 23, 2008
We need more kids to come out and play. If you want another successful year then get 100 kids out.

Union players and potential players do yourself a favor and go play for Coach Elliott. He is one of the best young coaches the state of Utah has to offer. He lives, breaths and dies football. If you as a player want to have a chance at playing any collegiate ball this is the guy to get you prepared.
From what I hear Union has a pretty strong tradition and despite whoever left last year you should be able to do better with Coach Elliott if you as players and fans line up behind him.
Good luck this year-it will fun to watch-I know I am looking forward to it!
GO ELLIOTT! | 3:21 p.m. June 9, 2008
Coach Elliott will be a great addition to Union High and also to the Roosevelt community. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience as well as a diverse offense (particularly the wishbone).

Sam Elliott is also a man of the highest integrity and work ethic. Any school would be lucky to have him.

Elliott is not one of the best young coaches in the state. If he knows so much about the bone then why did he not use it at Tooele. The reason he wanted to have the other coach with him was because of a problem with a student at Tooele. As far as sending players to the next level name them. I for one am very happy to see that he left.

You must have not got playing time. Maybe you should have worked harder. Coach Elliot is awesome. He actually teaches us stuff to make us better and we can't wait until the fall. In two weeks out here he already has all of us kids excited. Your loss & our gain. KAC!
