This means we can look forward to continuing this war we cannot win. Even by 2013. These factions have been fighting for centuries and the great and wise government of America thinks it can change what centuries have not been able to do? Americas best hope of economic recovery and national stabilty is to get out and leave these other countries to settle their own battles. The United States military would much better serve our country at our own borders to keep out the drugs, illegals, and terrorist. Not allowing those that wish to harm america is much easier and cheaper to do at our borders than chasing them around the world. If McCain himself believes we must stay at war for another 5 years, at least, then he is not the man for the job to lead a country. We aleady know that Obama and Hillary will support and maintain the war and have insecurity at our borders but I hoped McCain would be smarter. We need some better choices for president and leadership of this country, not backwoods CEO's running the oval office. Ron Paul still looks like the best choice for America.

Russ: yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. My mother once taught me that good salesmen tell you that in the future things will get better, even though they knew better. They just had to have the sale.
Mom gets smarter every day I watch politicians.

You have to remind yourself the average American will believe anything from Bush therefore McCain is taking that advantage and playing on the minds of those who are too lazy to research and question what is really happening in the world or even understand the history of the world. McCain has lost his mind and we can only pray he and his dried up Barbie doll don't get elected based on ignorance

McCain's vp choice is critical. He is already having senior moments and trying to look healthy.
There are a number of fairly respectable candidates... but none of them want to get on board the Titanic. This is going to be interesting.

Even if we could win the war - we won't win! How many reasons do you want.

I'm glad that as a preteen McCain was able to predict a win in WWII. Gee, even he is willing to point out how OLD he is.

As long as he's predicting, when does McCain say the Cubs will win the World Series? He'll have as much control over that as Iraq.

I can't wait to have my child die in this illegal war in say 2011 knowing that in 2013 we will declare victory. Oh it gives me faith to sacrifice my child. I think I will tell him to hang on until 2014 to join the military, because the war in Iraq will be over by then. Praise...
So utterly false!!! It is wicked to make such an outrageous prediction based on nothing more than hormones and old men's thoughts about "victory."
Remember when Nixon said he would get us out of Vietnam: he did not declare that by some year we would have victory. He knew better. Ike said he would go to Korea and fix things. McCain says: let me have more casualties until 2013, then we will have victory.
What absolute garbage!!!!!!!This man should never, ever be elected President!!!!!
