I love the Turk, but paying too much attention to the line has cost Memo a few buckets, by taking him out of his rythm.

My advice is to just shoot in rythm if you have a good look. Forget about it being a two or a three

Note to Memo:

Just shoot the ball and forget about the 3 point line. I've seen too many players step back and miss the shot because they lose their concentration. If you're dropping those shots in from 21 feet, I for one am not going to complain.

Memo-Money, I agree that he needs to shoot in rythem but I love it when he drives,rebounds and plays some d-fense. memo,AK, and millsap have had to carry boozer on d-fense all year. if you can't play D you probably won't win A championship.

It's SO good to see Memo playing the way we know he can. What a great asset to the team.

He's been better than Gasol since January with nary a word in the national media, which is a beautiful thing. Top 3 center in the league (not kidding). Nobody can contain him.

His ability is awesome! That big imposing body, that can shoot, block, rebound, you name it---is hugely intimidating to opponents! When he is in the groove it super-charges the Jazz and the fans!

Absolutely agree with what was said above. I think Memo is significantly under rated and under recognized for what he does on defense and on the boards. I don't know if he is a top 3 center but he is certainly top tier.

I hope he can keep the pain in his heel at a manageable level for the rest of the playoffs. I think he is the second most important player on the Jazz team right now, right behind Williams, and having him only be 75% or having to sit a game or two would be devastating.

Generally, our outside shooting killed us the first two games in LA. Okur has been quite reliable and consistent though. I hope he heals quick but achilles typically do not--that will likely only get worse if we win this series.

You know LA will just pack it in the paint again for game 5. What about starting Korver instead of Brewer? We need some more outside threats on the floor at the beginning of the game so either, we don't get so far behind to start OR, we they are not able to cheat so far off Brewer. Brewer has not hit a thing from the outside in LA--so they just guard Boozer and force Brewer to shoot. It worked.

Utah cannot rely on outside shooting to win a game in LA. The Jazz must penetrate, drawing fouls or making easy shots in the paint. The mere presence of good shooters outside is enough to keep the defense honest. You can't leave Korver or Williams or Memo open. What kills us isn't normally the lack of three-point shooting; it's when Boozer and AK settle for mid-range jumpers in the 14 to 19 foot range. Those guys must drive when the lane is available. They should not force shots when they're double-teamed. The referees will make a lot of home calls in LA's favor, and that tends to discourage road teams from continuing to penetrate when they come up empty a few times. But the Jazz must continue to work the ball inside; the refs can't call everything in LA's favor, and eventually Boozer, AK and Millsap can get the Laker bigs in foul trouble, which will really open things up offensively. The other important facet to Boozer's game is defense. He cannot be so afraid to foul that he stops playing D. He especially needs to play help defense. This does not require him to foul.
