PAYSON — Three people walked away from a small-plane crash Wednesday evening.

The single-engine plane crashed into an orchard in the West Mountain area about 7:30 p.m., said Utah County Sheriff's deputy Ray Edwards.

A pilot and two passengers suffered only minor injuries, he said. The Federal Aviation Administration will conduct an investigation to determine what caused the crash.
