OGDEN — Officials are on the look out for an arsonist after a series of suspicious fires in the city.

Flames destroyed an abandoned building at 1823 Kiesel Avenue about 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, said Ogden Deputy Fire Chief Chad Tucker. The blaze was just the latest in a series of fires in that area, he said.

"We're asking people to keep monitoring that area," Tucker said. "If they have cameras, take pictures if they see anything."

Nobody was injured during the fire, he said.
