S.L. man charged in beer bottle attack
A Salt Lake man has been charged with stabbing his neighbor in the back with a broken beer bottle.
The 21-year-old man was fighting with his neighbor last week near 800 West and Araphoe Ave. (640 South) when he stabbed him several times with the broken bottle, according to charges filed Wednesday in 3rd District Court.
The man has been charged with third-degree felony aggravated assault. He also faces a third-degree felony drug charge because police say he had a small amount of cocaine with him when he was searched at the Salt Lake County Jail.
