Then and now: Anabella original
This old chapel, dedicated in 1914 in Annabella, Sevier County, stood in the center of town until it was torn down to build a modern facility. The final meeting in the old chapel was held April 27, 1980, and demolition began the following day, according to the town's
history. The new building was dedicated Sept. 14, 1980. Annabella, a small town south of Richfield with a listed population of 603 (2000 census), still has just one LDS meetinghouse.
