I loved the article in Mormon Times regarding football schedules and conference time. However, there are still a couple of issues to resolve ... First, by having a BYU game on the Friday night before conference, it makes it hard to attend missionary reunions! Secondly, there is the issue of the general Relief Society meeting. In the past there has been a BYU or a Utah game on that night. There are women who are football fans, too, and are forced to choose between a date at the stadium with hubby, or a spiritual uplift with the women. Fortunately, I could watch the conference on the rebroadcast — but the point is, we have to make so many choices between "good, better, best." Why is it made harder by having to choose between things of the spirit and things of the (pig)skin? Ah, well, at least they are trying!
