Nader opens Salt Lake campaign office
Independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader has opened a campaign office in Utah.
The downtown Salt Lake City office opened Tuesday. It's one of 22 campaign offices for Nader opening around the country this week just weeks before the Nov. 4 election.
Nader's running mate is Matt Gonzales, a former public defender and a former member of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors.
Nader, 74, is a longtime consumer advocate. He sought the White House in each of the last three presidential elections. He ran on the Green Party ticket in 1996 and 2000, and as an independent in 2004.
