In the United Soccer Leagues First Division playoffs, Puerto Rico and Vancouver have advanced to the final in British Columbia on Sunday. The Puerto Rico Islanders eliminated Rochester, 3-2, and Vancouver ousted the Montreal Impact, 2-1, in home-and-away, total-goals series.

The Impact and the Islanders have played arduous schedules the past month, in the league and in the CONCACAF Champions League, where USL teams have a 6-0-2 record in the preliminary round and the group stage.

Since the beginning of September through Sunday, Montreal has covered 22,847 miles and Puerto Rico 15,035, according to the league.
