Utah County Sheriff's Office receives national grant

SPANISH FORK — The Utah County Sheriff's Office has been awarded $600,000 for its sex crimes task force.

The Justice Department's Office of Community Oriented Policing announced it will disperse nearly $10 million in grants to support partnerships between state or local government agencies that focus on reducing child endangerment. The Utah County Sheriff's Office is one of 23 agencies nationwide receiving the funds.
