Ogden search warrant nets 15 arrests

OGDEN — A search warrant on a known gang house netted 15 arrests early Saturday morning.

Nearly 50 officers from the Weber-Morgan Narcotics Strike Force, Ogden Metro SWAT team and gang unit were called out to serve a search warrant about 2:30 a.m. Saturday, said strike force Lt. Darin Parke.

The house at 3170 Kiesel Ave. is well known to police, who have responded to calls ranging from fights to drive-by shootings at the residence, Parke said.

"It's a constant problem," he said.

Saturday morning, police detained 39 people and later arrested 15 for a variety of violations.

The homeowner, Maria Caroline Greene, 46, was arrested for possesion of meth and paraphernalia, and supplying alcohol to minors, Parke said.

Eleven people were cited for underage drinking, six of them under the age of 18.

A man was arrested for public intoxication and giving false information to police. One person was arrested for resisting and another person was booked on a felony warrant.
