Truck hauling equipment hits overpass
A flatbed truck hauling a track hoe on I-80 hit an overpass on the city's west side.
Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Cameron Roden says the eastbound truck hit the overpass at Wright Brothers Drive on Monday. The track hoe fell off the truck and onto the interstate's right shoulder.
Roden says the truck's driver was cited. The overpass was reopened a short time later after an inspection.
There were no injuries.
