Stockpile of drugs found during arrest of wanted man
Police tracked down a wanted man Sunday afternoon, and also found a stockpile of illegal drugs in his pickup truck.
According to a police report, officers received information on the location of a 36-year-old man wanted in connection with aggravated assault. The man also had a federal warrant out for his arrest. Officers found the man near 660 S. 200 West.
Police searched his truck and found 46 packs of marijuana, 37 hits of heroin, 16 vials of steroids and 26 packages of Lortab pills.
Police booked the man into Salt Lake County Jail for investigation of the warrant, aggravated assault and possession with the intent to distribute.
