Provo company to offer adventure riverboat ride
PROVO — Instead of a hayride this Halloween, CLAS Ropes Course in Provo is offering an adventure riverboat ride on the lower Provo River.
From Oct. 3-31, individuals and families can take a ride in a professional excursion boat surrounded by more than 100 pumpkins reflecting off the water. Along the way, riders will hear scary stories and songs as well as become the "victims" of an attack by "pirates."
The boats can accommodate up to 40 people each, and the rides, lasting about 25 minutes each, are expected to depart every 15 to 30 minutes. Boarding for the adventure is at the CLAS Ropes Course on 2606 W. Center in Provo. The price per family is $25 or $6 for individuals. The ride will run from 6:30 to 9 p.m. on weekdays, from 6:30 to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and it is closed Sunday. For additional information call 801-373-1897 or visit www.clasropes.com.
