Governors qualified to lead
In response to James W. Anderson of Alabama (Readers' Forum, Sept. 1), what makes him think a person who has spent his life in the Senate is more qualified to be an executive than one who has executive experience as a governor? In recent years the majority of our presidents have brought gubernatorial experience to the White House. Most have been successful. I'll put my faith in Gov. Sarah Palin any day over a senator or congressman.
