TUCSON, Ariz. — Adam Pavkovich snapped a 1-1 tie in the eighth inning with a two-run double to send the Salt Lake Bees to a 3-2 win over the Tucson Sidewinders on Saturday night.

Freddy Sandoval singled, moved to second on a walk to Kendry Morales and both runners advanced on a groundout by Dee Brown before Pavkovich drilled a 1-1 pitch into the gap in right center to score both runners.

Anthony Ortega (5-0) picked up the win as he allowed just two runs on nine hits with one strikeout and no walks. Jason Bulger worked a scoreless ninth inning for his 16th save.
