Provo Baptist pastor is retiring Aug. 31

PROVO — Pastor Rhett Durfee of the First Baptist Church of Provo has announced his retirement. His final Sunday is Aug. 31.

The church, 1144 W. Columbia Lane, will have a business meeting this Sunday immediately following the 11 a.m. worship to vote on calling an intentional interim pastor.

Bible study for all ages is at 9:45 a.m. every Sunday, and worship celebration is at 11 a.m. Visitors are welcome for all events. Nursery and children's worship are available during the worship celebration.
