PROVO — The role of parents in meeting missionary standards was a topic of discussion during two Thursday afternoon sessions at Brigham Young University Campus Education Week.

In her presentation “Fulfilling a Valiant Mission: What the Mission President and His Wife Want You to Know,” Nancy Murphy offered advice from the perspective of mission presidents, while the father-son speaking duo of Brad and Russell Wilcox addressed how parents can help youths maintain standards of personal purity in their series called “Raising Ourselves to the Bar.”
