"Last Dance at the Diner" a documentary about the final days and nights of historic Bill & Nada's Cafe, will be screened Saturday, 2 p.m. at Photography by Laurie, 1064 E. 2100 South, Sugar House. The screening is free. For close to half a century Bill & Nada's attracted folks to cozy booths, down-home service and menu items such as orange pancakes, milkshakes, wonderful sandwiches and brains-and-eggs.
The Got Milk? Mustache Mobile returns to Salt Lake City Aug. 21-24. Residents can nominate a local mom to become Salt Lake's Chief Health Officer. The winner will appear in her own Milk Mustache ad.
People can also enter the Chief Health Officer Sweepstakes for a $100,000 prize. There are milk samples from local dairies, a registered dietitian offering nutrition advice, a prize wheel and exercise tips from Curves specialists. Venues are Hogle Zoo, 2600 E.
