Salt Lake Bees rally past Royals, win in 11th
With two out and no runners on, Adam Pavkovich walked. Johnson then lined the first pitch from Omaha reliever Jeff Fulchino to the wall in right center to bring home Pavkovich. Johnson scored on a single to left by Morrissey.
The Bees trailed by two going into the ninth inning, but Brandon Wood singled and scored on a double by Dee Brown and an error by left fielder Chris Lubanski. Brown then scored the tying run on a single by Pavkovich.
Henry Bonilla tossed a scoreless bottom of the 11th for his second save. Jason Bulger (3-0) pitched two shutout innings for the win. Sean Rodriguez had three hits, including a home run, while Brown added two hits and one run scored for Salt Lake.
Kearns High product Brandon Duckworth pitched 6 1/3 innings for Omaha, allowing six hits and three runs.
