Mountain View fullback Anthony Heimuli became the 10th football prospect to commit to BYU Friday when he accepted a scholarship offer from head coach Bronco Mendenhall.

Heimuli, who is 5-foot-11 and 225 pounds, made his declaration at the end of a week in which BYU received three additional commitments from high school players who will play their senior years this fall.

The others include Oregon wide receiver Mitch Matthews; Indio, Calif., defensive back Trevor Bateman and Northridge High running back Peni Maka'Afi. All say they will sign with BYU in February 2009.
