Carl's Jr. restaurants have launched a Prime Rib Six Dollar Burger. It's a charbroiled beef patty topped with thinly sliced prime rib, melted Swiss cheese, grilled onions and horseradish sauce. Suggested price is $5.69.
The Grand America is hosting Summer Saturdays, 6-10 p.m., on the Garden Cafe's outdoor patio through the end of summer. The buffet menu includes grilled lamb, ribs, rib-eye steak, make-your-own tacos, crab legs, sushi, shrimp, a salad bar and a dessert bar, for $44. Live jazz music is provided by the Joshua Payne Trio (grandamerica.com).
Sun & Moon Cafe in Emigration Canyon of hosting a "Dinner and Blues Night" with Todd Wolfe, former guitarist for Sheryl Crow, Thursday, 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $16 per person, and dinner is ordered separately at menu prices. Reservations are required (583-8331).
